MINT (M) ------------------ In my opinion, this grade does not exist! Records are never perfect.
NEAR MINT (NM) --------- Like new. Sealed copies usually are in this grade.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - Barely used. Very minor blemishes. Should sound great when played.
VERY GOOD (VG)---------- Obvious blemishes, but will play OK. It will have some surface noise.
GOOD (G)------------------ Has significant scratches and wear. Still playable, but has lots of surface noise.
